Remember a good rule is, if it ends in "OSE" its sugar. No matter what name it is given, sugar is sugar and your body knows it!

More Recipes to Come...

A YUMMY HEALTHY LUNCH. Walnut salad and chicken

I LOVE this lunch. I could eat it every day!

Walnut Salad Recipe
-Your choice of lettuce, it can be spinach, romaine, mixed whatever you like! I prefer romaine or spinach.
-A handful of walnut halves
-A handful of dryed cranberries
-Feta cheese
-You choose your dressing, I use either a raspberry vinaigrette or olive oil and vinegar

AND

Grill some chicken on your stove or grill and your choice of seasoning!

This makes for a great lower carb and nutritious lunch!

MY "IF ALL ELSE FAILS" GREEN DRINK RECIPE

I call this MY "IF ALL ELSE FAILS" GREEN DRINK . I have been drinking this every morning for over 2 years now, the reason why I call it my "IF ALL ELSE FAILS" Green drink is because if all else fails and that's the only thing fresh, and healthy I get for the day, then AT LEAST I got this! Its packed with nutrients! I try to eat a healthy lunch and dinner.. but we all have those days when we just want a good chimichanga, hamburger or piece of pizza for dinner!
P.S This HONESTLY doesn't taste that gross! It's not the most delicious thing in the world but it isn't that bad.

MY "IF ALL ELSE FAILS" GREEN DRINK RECIPE
Stuff 3/4 to the whole blender full with spinach (in my blender its about 4 cups, PACK it in there)
3/4 c. of orange juice (if you need to more after you add the berries then that's ok!)
1 c. of frozen berries
1/2 zucchini (if it's in season)
** If you want add protein, choose one with low sugar, and low fat!
Viola! So yummy and healthy, After you get used to eating this for awhile try adding:
1 leaf of collard greens (pull of the leafy part and discard the stem)
2 leas of kale (pull of the leafy part and discard the stem)
( You will need to add less spinach when you add these two. So, only add about 2 c spinach instead of 4)

*** ATTENTION: LADIES WHO ARE PREGNANT! If you are having a hard time keeping down your pre-natal vitamin (many women struggle with this, usually the iron in the pill makes them throw it right back up) , drink this! This will help compensate, I couldn't keep mine down and this helped tons, especially because it is high in iron!
